Hey guys.
Thanks for the welcome.
The team at Mustang Motorsport in Melbourne did a great job with the conversion. They bought the car for me in September and had it shipped to their shop, converted it and sent it up to me in Queensland. The whole process took 3 months. It was the longest 3 months I can every remember!
They have been converting Stang's for years. It drives very nice and it's great to finally have a V8 again
I was laughing reading your comments, me and Dan are always hanging it on each other lol.

Also, I wanted to say thanks to Dana for the help with updating the GPS with Australian maps. Ford Australia couldn't do anything, but I'm waiting to here back from Mustang Motorsports. Hopefully they will sort it out for me. At the moment i could find my way to any address in the States, but i don't think i will have enough fuel in the tank to get there!!

Wow! Is this required or just a preference?

I think it's required on newer cars. Dan's is exempt I think.

Yeah, that's a lot more complicated than putting on a supercharger or a set of springs. They did a great job on it.

I'm taking off starting tomorrow, going to Iowa for the folks 50th anniversary. Thinking of taking the 'stang, not really Mustang weather there this time of year though.

Hey Jeff.... Welcome to the forum... glad I could help you a bit on the Navigation. I enjoyed going into my Ford dealership and asking them about loading Australian maps.... some of the guys just looked at me and said "what?"...LMAO

The pics of the conversion are incredible... I didn't know that it was that involved... 3 months seemed like a year I'll bet!

Your ride is awesome looking hope you enjoy tearing up the roads down there!!!
