I followed most of these steps. One of which is testing the spark signal from the ECU to the coil and it passed. But I'm still worried that it might be a computer issue.

By chance did you hit a puddle and cause a short?
Is there a cam position sensor as well? I would think not on a pushrod v8.

No puddle jumping lately.
There's some sort of Cam position sensor under the distributor cap. I might try that, what's another $50...LOL.
I'm going to focus on getting this guys Shelby out of my garage over the weekend and worry about my truck after.

I appreciate the thought. Mike and I are going to work on it some tonight. I figured he'd like sone wrench time since he doesn't have a Mustang to tinker on anymore.
