Well, I think I've finally given up on my car. The poor thing is just too slow. Boost was next on my list, but I just don't think it's worth spending $5k on boost when I could just get a 5.0 and have basically the same power from the factory and a bunch more potential. I've been really wanting an 11/12 because I love the styling with the right mods. I think I'm just gonna enjoy it for the next year or so while I pay it down and let my job stabilize (hopefully a big raise in 6 months), then send it on it's way.

Hey Clint...Ran into a guy with the same Hawk pads as you....Said the same thing, squeaks under light braking but not a all under heavy braking...

 

Hmm. I went and heated the **** out of them the other day, seemed to have helped a bit. I just can't see how they can advertise them as low squeal.

 

I had Hawk pads too. Real squeakers :-)

Noreen was always complaining :-)

 

I may have to look into a different set and sell the ones I have...

 

nothing worse than squeaky brakes, except maybe squeaky suspension components.
