How are the gun prices there? They weren't too pretty in Texas but I still picked me up a nice s&w xd 40.

I'm back in Afghanistan, left the states on 5 December. The time I had was good though
The thing that trips me about about this side of the planet is the moon, I'm just not used to seeing it horizontally.

Most gun shows have pricing about the same as it is in store honestly. Used guns and collector items are what the shows are pretty good for. Unless you find a vendor that will haggle.

Yeah that's how it was at that gun show. Supposedly they're cheaper at the really big gun shows.

Is there a cmp in NC? I'd really like to get my hands on an M1 Garand.

Keep seeing highs of 5-10 degrees here. Been as low as -19 with a windchill of like -40. Thank goodness for a heated shop, but man it just takes forever to do anything. More snow again today. Maybe I should relocate...

Heard it was pretty nasty out your way.

C'mon over. You could try corn and soybeans in eastern NC. Too many trees and hills in the western part of the state.
