Okay. The guys in the Chop Shop have outdone themselves, and we have a multitude of different options to choose from for our overall logo and some generic chapter shirts. I think britt is going to make a member list shirt...maybe we can do that once a year and have yearly shirts...idk, but that is beside the point. I believe that this will just be a Carolina Regional Chapter shirt that I'll keep on hand for purchase at our events, or you can order it off of here.

Basically, I'll post the Option # above the logo as well as a short description of the thought process behind each one, and once you decide on your favorite, go up and vote on it in the poll.

If there is something that you want to see that isn't already an option, describe it in a post and I'll relay that to the logo creator and see what he can do.

Option 1:
The original idea. State colors were random, and the Mustang text was just something cool to avoid copyright issues.



Option 2:
Although it doesn't look as good in my opinion, this was a more grammatically correct version of the first logo.



Option 3:
State color change. This one goes with the state flag colors. Red for NC, and the deeper blue for SC. Blue is a bit off, but not bad. I know NC isn't really red...but it's a part of the flag, and white is boring, and blue is taken by SC. Pretty neat idea, and it's definitely bright, which is good for shirts.



Option 4:
Flirting with copyright laws here. The running pony is a Ford trademark, so we bent the rules and went with a generic running horse rather than the Ford one. If we like this, it may or may not make it past the admins decision, but we can always try.



Option 5:
Copyright line still here with the pony. We decided the flames are lost in the mix when NC is red, so we reverted back to the old colors.



Option 6:
Back in the safe zone copyright wise. We have permission for the MF logo. This flows pretty well, and the car is scaled up in the bottom right since it doesn't have to match the size of the MF logo on the other side. A bit off-balanced, but I think it still works well.



Option 7:
Same concept as Option 6, but we worked the state colors back into the mix, by creating a gradient in the flames from yellow to red. Works out pretty nicely. Very bright and eye catching.



Breast Pocket Logos:

These are very similar. Meanstang in the Chop Shop (logo designer for us) likes skulls, so he threw some into one of these. They don't really detract from anything, so I'll let everyone here decide on these. Just post a comment about which one of these you like, or if you'd like to see another idea come to life for the breast logo on the front.

I think the oval logo in option #7 without the flames would make a great stand alone breast pocket logo. Thanks to all working on this.

i like option 7, but it needs to be more balanced at the bottom. maybe another 'stang facing the other way, or whatever you guys can come up with? either way i think it looks pretty cool.

i'm with SHO on the breast pocket logo. i think the MF logo looks great as a standalone.

Dude, these are some sick designs, im jealous. 7 & 4 look the best imo. W/ option #2 for breast pocket logo.

i think this looks good for the pocket and the new design with the mustangs switched in the chop shop that was recently posted is by far the best IMO

 

I'll add my vote for the two-stang design and the out-take logo for the breast pocket. Also, white or silver stangs on a black shirt would look awesome IMO, but the design as is on white or light gray would also really stand out.

 

Option 7 (the Balanced one)
