Default Good Dealer in NC??

I'm moving to Pope AFB/Fort Bragg for my duty station in the next 2 weeks.... I've searched around here to see if I could find any recommendations on a dealership/sales person but have yet to find anything.... Anyone have any recommendations on a dealership/salesperson that is negotiable on prices. I appreciate the help

This thread title amuses me...but on the topic. I'm not really sure. I'm assuming you are looking to buy a car or are you just looking for a good place for service?

I've been here at Fort Bragg since '02. (3rd Grouper now in SWTG) If you want to stay close to Base then go to Lafayette Ford. I just bought a 2012 GT yesterday from there. I get treated pretty good there with all the business I've done there. I've bought several trucks there. We can link up or I can tell you who to talk too. All you would have to do is drop my name. If you want to get further from Base then I would go to Cross Roads Ford in Sanford. Heard good things about them.

Got mine in charlotte at young ford, but that was just a coincidence that they had the car I was looking for. Might be a bit of a drive. Decent enough experience. Go with the other recommendations though.

Yeah a bit of a drive, but Keith Hawthorne in Belmont was easy to work with.

Hellbound, when you land in NC and get settled be sure to join us at some of the events we have planned. We have a couple good mountain drives planned this year.

thanks everyone for pointing me in the right direction. Sleeper I appreciate it, Ill be at Pope Afb working with 43rd Airmed Evac, im a RF transmission specialist.

Right now im looking to get the 2013 when it comes out but want to put in a deposit, possibly just pay for it outright in cash and pick it up when it comes in. If you guys have a favorite or know of a good sales person at these dealers feel free to share. When I get my car ill def meet up with all of you.. For the first few months it will be hard because I won't have a car (sold my explorer and motorcycle).

But again thanks again for the warm welcome, can't wait to meet and ride with all of you
