I really don't know where else you could hook up with us. Unless you want to ride up 421 to meet up with Larry and I but that is about 2 hours too. Maybe you could meet up with Larry in Raleigh?

I will find a spot this weekend. They've extened 311 and I think it now meets up with 85.

 

Coming through Raleigh would certainly be out of the way, but you could link up with us in Charlotte at Sam Wilson Road.

 

Raleigh is most deffinately out of the way. Gastonia would work.

According to the weatherman Saturday is supposed to be 70 degrees and sunny. WOOT! Cruisin' topless is the only way to go...

 

John...You may want to consider taking I-485 as you come into Charlotte. It's about 5 miles longer but will save you lot's of time.( Hwy 74 is stop & go ...I-485 65-70 mph and no stops. Let me know if you decide on 485 and we can hook up ( if you want ) and meet the guys on Sam Wilson Rd.

 

I like the I485 route, but looking at it I will miss the Sam Wilson Road exit. The 485/85 merge ramp goes right over it.
