New Look
I have been searching for a look that I was really happy with since I got my car. If you don't mind I will walk you through the changes and show you where I am today.
Day One - Bone stock
Added California Special Wheels -
Added Drag DR-37 Wheels and hood spears -
Remove the hood spears and added pit stripes -
Added billet grill and CS lower fascia -
Added 3M carbon fiber vinyl to the roof -
Deb has not been a big fan of dark wheels but I talked her into a new set and we totally had the stripes redone to GT500 style and a slight departure from the black on white theme we had been working with.
This was a big day for us and I think it made a huge change in the look of the car, in fact it doesn't even look like what I started with. Let me know your thoughts.
We found the car in Raleigh and traded today. I am really happy with it so far. It is a 2011 with just under 7,000 miles. It needs some detailing love but will be in good shape soon.
I guess I have to get Jeff to work on a new sig for me.
I have some parts from the GT that I will get posted tomorrow. Most are show, not go parts.

Congrats!!!!!! Your gt was one of my favorites I have seen, but I already think I like this one more. Do you have any performance plans for this one.... cause I can tell you it is REAL easy to gain some good power with just a couple of bolt ons. Can't wait to see it in person!

WOOT!!! I got to be the first one to check out someone's new ride for a change!!! Alan, I am so happy for you, and super jealous. The Shelby is super nice and sounds awesome. Almost like JJ's...way back when we first met him. You know...4 or 5 exhaust systems ago. LOL.
I have complete faith that you will have it glowing before the weekend is over.

FANTASTIC UPGRADE!!
Now...uumm wait a sec, you were in Raleigh, traded up your car and didn't stop by Cars-n-Coffee? Hmmm....sneaky Alan...
Happy for you man! Congrats on a super find!

Thanks for the kind words guys, I really appreciate it. I really do think I am going to keep it as stock as I can. The SVT Performance Package lowers it just a bit and puts 20's on the back so I don't think I am going to lower it. It is such an upgrade in power from the GT I don't see pullies and tunes in the near future.
Jason, if I got any color other than white it would have to be SGM. I will send you a note on a couple things I want, Roush side splitters and hood struts. I think that will do it other than detailing for now.
Clark, I had good intentions yesterday. But, I got to Raleigh later than I had planned, Capital was extremely busy, spent some time with daughter and son-in-law and hit the road for home.
Jeff, thanks for the detailing supplies and the compliments. I am going to take your advice and have Deb drive the car and listen to it from outside. It is really quiet in the car. I edited the post "I may need some sig help from JEFF, not Jason".
