Default GoPro Help!

OK all of you GoPro, pros...I need a little help with editing and/or filtering...

First vid i took today and it was super noisy once i got up to speed.
So questions are:
1) is there any way to lessen wind shear/noise while recording? (gopro mounted on roof)
2) what program (if any) are you using to filter out the wind??

Not a program, tape! Use the skeleton door and put tape over the holes. Another way is face the camera backwards, but that kind of limits your view lol.

The kit I bought had different doors for the back of the case if I remember correctly. Some were open, and others were totally closed off to seal it in case you wanted to use it underwater. It helped a lot, but there is still "some" wind noise to be heard... don't know if you will ever really get rid of all of it.

One thing I have seen (and I forgot where) was an external microphone that you could plug into the GoPro, and then mount the mic where you wanted. In the post I saw about it, the user mounted the mic up under the rear bumper giving his videos a very nice and full exhaust note, and not a lot of wind.

The sealed doors are even worse for noise, no idea why. I couldn't even hear my exhaust with the sealed unit, weird.

Really? Maybe I have it backwards then... its been a while since I put it on the outside of the car, I usually just use it at the track and put on the inside if the drivers window. Mainly use it to capture boost, launch rpms, and shift points. Not a lot of wind noise inside... unless I get the nachos from the concession stand

Uhhh...does that improve your boost...or relieve your PSI?

In some of my in car videos you might see the boost gauge "spike" momentarily..... a sudden build up of excess pressure.......
