Default Stainless Works catback

I got the new Stainless Works catback installed today. Well, pretty much installed. One of the clamps won't get tight enough to hold things aligned properly, so I have to fix that. And it's hitting the pan hard brace.

Installing the new system was easy. Removing the over axle pipes in the garage on jack stands wasn't. Ended up breaking out the sawzall and cutting them where they go over the axle. Simple from that point on.

Here's how the new setup comes. Lots of pieces and clamps.

Quick video. My camera doesn't capture sound very well. It's not loud, but it's not as quiet as this video makes it seem.

And another addition to the car.

I still need to hear those in person. Like the sticker, color might clash on mine but i'm tempted. So would you say your old pipes would make a good donation towards resonator delete pipes or are they too hacked up for that?

Thanks guys. I'm dropping it off at Piedmont Custom Motorsports in the morning to get it all sorted out. It's probably gonna take a tack weld or two to keep it all lined up.

As far as the sound goes, I like it better then the roush axle-backs. It's deeper and quieter. Not that I didn't like them, but they were pretty loud without resonators, and I plan on longtubes and offload xpipe later this year. This should still be reasonable with them.

If any of you guys are looking for roush axlebacks, I'll be selling mine soon.

That depends on what a shop would charge to weld them back together.
