Woohoo! Just got a "garage" bought. I put that in quotes because I'm not sure you can call a 40X60X12 a garage. Three roll ups, two walk ins, insulated, all steel. All I have to do is run the slab and do the electric.

Sweet Chris. Lift going in? Do you have to run an extra wide door to get the tractors in?

No lift yet. Maybe some day! As far as tractors go, we have a 100X100X18 shop at our headquarters where we work on those. So I will probably only work on things I can get in at this one. Going with regular 9X9 doors. Edit: going to price 10X10 doors.

Will be installing Ford Racing strut tower brace and cowl extension tomorrow. Love the weather.

Oh and taking pics that I promised to take weeks ago...

With my son's help (taking out the rear seat) I pulled the plug on the hyd tank for the power top, it was low or empty. We started off with 5 oz of trans fluid and then cycled it 5-6 times got a lot of air. then had to add in 3 more ounces for a total of 8 ozs. I don't think the po ever checked the tank.

Uh, oh, there is a tank of fluid for the convertible top? Did not know that. Is there a youtube video showing how that's done? Thanks.

I installed a pair of gas hood struts this afternoon. Got them from American Muscle and the instructions were pretty good but they forgot to say 'remove the safety clips' but I had read somewhere to do that. It all went well, the hood works great with the struts, and it only took about a half hour.

Thanks for the video; all is working well right now but I see what I'll have to do someday.

The instructions with the struts never mentioned the safety pins where the round '****' goes into the strut 'ball' but I had a motorcycle with linkage like this and knew to remove them. I put some extra grease in the sockets and reinstalled the safety pins last thing. Love the way it works.
