It's a slow process, a hair dryer can be safer than a heat gun. You can't blister paint wtih a hair dryer.

Bout an hour got the nose done on one side. Biggest piece was about the size of a quarter. Hood seems worse, but it's colder too, so who knows. Might get an eraser wheel tomorrow.

Damn that would be maddening! Is that with a hair dryer or heat gun too?

Hair dryer. I got about six inches of hood done just now, but it's the warmest it's been all day, finally some sunshine. I can get the shop up to 80 or so if the winds not blowing tomorrow.

Hair dryer will be your best friend..... That and going SLOW. Start at a corner and pull diagonally to try and get the stripe to come up all in one piece. That will make it a lot easier and keep you from having to start and stop every time the vinyl tears.

What about some shop/construction lampS? They tend to warm an area up pretty quick.
