With the nice weather rolling in, took some time on Saturday to install the GT500 spoiler and restripe some of the area on trunk lid.
Pulled off the OEM spoiler....eeeesh! Amazing how much dirt gets thru a 1/8 gap in the tape!
All cleaned...ready for new wing!
At this point, we removed the 3rd brake light and removed the existing striping from that are...it was a bit wrinkled and ripped in a few places. We also pulled the trunk panel back so we could tuck the stripe under it, to give it a cleaner look as it was a bit cut up from the first install.
Restriped and wing on
So while Harold and I were setting the plotter to cut the hood stripes, our other instigators...i mean helpers were busy re-styling the stripes for the hood scoop...kinda digging the negative effect...
needless to say, we didn't get the hood scoop stripes on due to running out of vinyl...
Here's a close-up of the trickiest spot on the car...the 3rd brake light and the curve in the spoiler for the light
and some other pics

JJ, Harold had the "perfect tool" for getting the OEM spoiler off without any issues...
A plastic pie/cake knife!!
It was serrated and was able to cut thru the tape without much effort.
Just lightly pull up on one side of the OEM wing and cut the tape to the bolt.
Keep lifting on the wing slightly and get the knife under the wing on the other side of the bolt, then just start cutting while lifting up.
Here's a linky to something that will work

something close to what we used

Looking awesome! Harold I agree 14's aren't that respectable. Hell if Ford offered a comparable lease deal I'd be driving an F150 any day of the week. I'm happy with my truck for the payment. Now to go halves with my brother for a boat....
