Default Spring detail

Started on the spring detail of my Mustang today. It's black and it's my daily driver, so it needs a little paint correction. After washing and claying I used Meguiars microfiber cutting pads and compound applied via PC7424. This took care of the correction, tomorrow will be finishing. I probably will be finishing with Meguiars M205 on a Meguiars yellow polishing pad, followed by Menzerna 106 on a Meguiars black finishing pad, both via PC7424.

Looks pretty good right?

Lol. Thanks guys.

Finishing steps done today. Ended up changing my game plan after trying a few different combos. I went with Optimum Hyper Polish spray on a Meguiars black finishing pad. This was able to remove all the marring from compounding and leave the paint ready for sealant/wax.

A few reflection shots in the garage. I'll try to get some sun shots tomorrow if I have time. I hate to do it since the pollen is so bad right now.

All these pics are after cleaning the paint with IPA. No sealant, no wax, no fillers. I sealed with Poorboys EX-P and topped with Poorboys Nattys blue paste.

Don't do it! Keep the garage closed until the pollen is gone, kinda like winterizing the car lol.
