Default ~ On Topic threads please!

For the love of God, please stay on topic!!!

After a thread gets to page 3 I stop reading because it gets way off subject! Then by the time page 10 rolls around its talking about a subject that is already a thread three posts down.

Is this forum beyond help!?
We really need to try to keep it to the subject at hand guys.....seriously.

I have had a few people I recommended this site to come to me and say this and that they have not stayed around or left due to this issue.

Im sure most of you will say, "If you don't like it then leave".

Rant over, carry on!
(I don't normally go on rants, so please forgive me if your offended!)

its sad but that is actually one of the reasons I like getting on here. You never know what direction its going. I have occasionally taken a conversation off-line instead of posting. Guess we're just lazy and post whatever is on our mind in the current thread instead of referencing/posting links in the carolina chat. Don't know what to tell ya, it might change the (IMO) "interest" factor of the threads without some banter.

It would be easier to stay on topic if this was a "Tech", "Suspension", "Wheel", etc specific section. Unfortunately it's a "Regional" section where we come to BS, schedule GTG's and have a good time. I just do see why I have to make a new thread to say hello or if I read something in a thread that reminds me of something to go make a new thread to ask the question or make the statement. Our threads are just like normal everyday conversations, they free-flow from thought to thought.

Also, usually people that complain about being on topic are mostly looking for a structured place for technical information and answers, not to BS on the forum and have a good time.

Sorry Doug...I know I cause threads to get off topic. I'll try to stay on topic from now on, but I would like to ask you one question. Do you think there is life on other planets?

I heard men are from Mars, women are from Venus...so the question is: Has anyone seen life on Uranus?
