I wish my car would hit dyno numbers like that. I was thinking the exhaust might have had something to do with the number drop but I don't know enough about mustangs to say it. Maybe not enough back pressure? Still great numbers and your car sounds bad ***.

dude... those new rear tires are frick'n FAT!!! Sorry, that's all I could think of while watching the video.

I wish you had put a boost gauge in it before we did the headers. I know that I lost 1-2psi when I did mine.

Frick'n love the tires....LOL....There were a lot of people checking them out there too. LOL

I know I'm at 10PSI now....You think it could have been higher with the stock headers? Maybe I should drop to a 79mm Pulley...LOL

I went from a 4-1/8 to a 3-7/8 to get mine back up 1psi after the header install.

You were probably at 12psi with the stock headers? I'm guessing.

Maybe talk to Lund?

Just sent Lund an email:

Jon,
This might be a little long, but really need your input.
When I had the car on the Dyno last year prior to the LT install the numbers were: (Weather – 59 degrees @ 23% humidity)
616.79 and 544.41
Mods:
TVS2300 w/ 82mm pulley
47lbs injectors
Boost-a-pump
JLT CAI (Plastic)
Stock headers, JBA O/R H, stock over axle pipes, FRPP SVT Sport Axle Back
3.31’s
Two piece drive shaft

I put the car on the Dyno yesterday. (Same one as last time) The numbers are: (Weather – 75 degrees @ 47% humidity)
595.79 and 508.88
Mods:
TVS2300 w/ 82mm pulley
47lbs injectors
Boost-a-pump
JLT CAI (Carbon Fiber)
Stainless Works LT’s, Stainless Works Catted X-Pipe, Stainless Works retro chamber cat back
3.73’s
One piece drive shaft

Is it possible that the temperature and humidity level could have taken away 21HP and 35 Torque? Also, is it possible to for LT’s to take away 1-2 PSI? If so should I drop from the 82mm pulley to a 79? Thanks for everything.

Yes, yes, and yes.

Temps can have a huge impact on Dyno numbers, and you probably did loose 1-1.5 psi. How did the A/F look? Sometimes it will require a retune when switching to LTs because they can make it go a touch lean. LTs will also cut torque also..... My GT went from 320 RWTQ to 312 RWTQ after long tubes. You have changed to a 3.73 gear, that will also lower the numbers too. Heck, even differences in the way the car is strapped down can make a 3-5 RWHP difference.

Personally, I would say it is mostly the weather conditions..... Hard to make power when it is hot and humid.

I did a data log after the install and Lund made minor changes.....A/F was spot on.

Cool. Then it was probably mostly the weather conditions and the gear swap affecting the numbers.

Lol.I will just switch exhaust with you. You take my Bassani exhaust and I will run yours??? I don't know if headers will work from my car but you can switch to my ceramic shorties and I will take the LTs. Then your wife will not mind. Lol. Seems like the plan works. Can this be done before Friday when I get home???

I'm sure you will figure it out and jump those numbers back up brother.
