My friends from Ohio are making their annual trek down to the Dragon the week of Sept. 8th

I will be joining them on the 10th.
Plan is to stay in Gatlinburg and do daily runs on the roads, then go up to pidgeon forge @ nite to hang out, eat, look at all of the cars, go-cart, etc

You're all more than welcome to join us.

I've wanted to go for a while. I'd be interested. Need to do some suspension work first thouogh!

 

Jennie will be out of town most of October. She will be in town the weekend of 12/13 October. Also we might be good for the 15 September Diamond Back run.

 

Alan thanks for setting up time on 80. I know a cool route after the climb to the highest point in North America East of the Mississippi. This is the most exciting climb in the SW knowing that the last 3 miles and around a thousand vertical feet have NO ENTRANCE to the road!

 

Just saw a post that the dragon is down to 1 lane near the end by the dam. Dont remember how long it will be that way but you may want to check it out.

 

We don't need but 1 dam lane son. LOL

 

Might want to get some J bends to route our exhaust the other way so they'll know we're coming.

 

If any of you are interested, we have a hotel booked for Sept 8-14.

My plans are to leave early Tuesday morning (Sept 10) and leave Sat morning with plans on meeting up with the group for the Diamondback run.

My dad and Stepmother keep threatening to come down some time in September...
