Default Nitrous help!

So i got a full NX plate kit from a buddy the other day, he bought it just never used it so i took it off his hands, it is a wet kit, with everything you need including WOT switch, bottle warmer, etc...

Whats everybody's opinions on nitrous kits with the 2013 gt's? Ive heard some good some bad, just a little iffy to try it on my '13, i know nitrous can go wrong and when it does everything goes BOOM! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I wouldn't do it unless I had a trailer to tow it home in. Guy I bought my driveshaft from had a kit on an 11, said he was running 11.5 Passes on it with some d/rs. You're gonna need a tune so you might as well call pro'dyno for dan's expertise/opinion.

Yeaa, i mean i knew i had to get a tune regardless, but i knew a guy that had a '13 like mine and put the same kit as mine with a 125 shot, but he only kept the car a couple weeks after he put the kit on it so wasnt really enough time to see how it would react to it, he only sprayed it probably 3 times and it screameddd! Like i said though ive heard good and bad about the coyote motors and nitrous so i was just trying to get some opinions

Might repost in the technical or racing sections, we laugh too much to be messing around with NO2. When you do it we demand a video though.

Nitrous is GREAT!!! You just need to understand how/why it works before you go spray-happy. Lol

I have helped a friend tweak his 2012 5.0 with nitrous and it has gone 11.30s on a 100 shot. With 150 jets he would be high 10s easily. Only other mods are a CAI and tune.

You'll need two tunes, one for running Nitrous and one for not running. I've had a few chats with Justin Starkey on these setups, its actually a pretty easy tune for anything 125 and under. After that it started getting past me. I've been working on tuning while over here in Germany with Justin's help.... its a slow process but if you need any explanation feel free to ask.
