guys what do you gain when do away with the egr and can I just unplug it or buy a plate ?

 

You gain absolutely nothing. You can buy a kit from lethal performance to cap off where the tube goes into the manifold, and a plate that covers the back of the plenum, but from what I've heard all it does is give a check engine light, and a cleaner looking engine bay.
