Thanks everyone. I think they get to go home tomorrow, at least that's what the kids think. We will see if the doctors agree.
Hard to believe you guys have granddaughters that will be 15 and that your grandson is already 6 months old Dana. But I do remember you not being at Myrtle Beach to be home for his arrival. I totally understand why you did that now.

After waiting nine long months the newest life mod showed up yesterday at 1256. Anderson Catherine Merold is our first grandchild. She weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and is 22 inches long. Of course Deb and I are very excited and will be back to the hospital in just a bit.
I am sure you still have those smiles on your face.
Congratulations Deb and Alan. A very special time! Look forward to meeting Anderson Catherine Merold in the future. I am also looking forward to watch her grow with the new pictures you will be sharing.

From what my parents have said to my newly-married sister, they're ready for the grandkids because they get the toys (the kids) without having to deal with the lack of sleep!
I'm sure you'll be great grandparents! Enjoy every minute of it.
