Default NEED SOME HELP

Ok. So I have my mustang tuned at pro dyno but have a Cam tune on there as well. Right now I am running the Cam tune and if i am stopped and in neutral..there is a knocking noise. If I push the clutch in the knocking noise goes away. What is going on? I can just change it to the other tune if nothing to do a quick fix. Just sounds terrible imo.

So when you load the Pro-Dyno tune it doesn't knock?

Well I have another tune on there as well. 3 total. The cam tune, pro dyno tune, and street tune. The other tunes do not knock. Only with the Cam tune since it makes the engine seem as if it has cams.

the smartass in me wants to say "Well don't run the cam tune and it will fix your problem" LOL

But seriously, Have you contacted whoever it was that did your cam tune to see if they have any tweaks to make to stop?

Even with the car in neutral, when the clutch is out there's enough friction there to make the drivetrain move so maybe the noise you're hearing is the Pressure plate moving or maybe it's the gears in the tranny moving around. It's probably made more noticeable by the light flywheel.

That's all a huge guess on my part though.

I know, I just love how the Cam tune sounds and if I can get it to stop knocking then I will go that route...if not then change it to another tune. I'll try contacting them and see. thanks.

Throw-out bearing. My 05GT did the same thing with the hot rod cams. Would rattle a little bit and then mash the clutch in and it was fine.

It's bad. You'll need to replace it (new slave as well, since I think it's all one piece) You don't need a new clutch too by chance, since it's all gonna be apart?

It's bad even if it doesn't do it on the other tunes?
