It's been almost a month since the last post here. Where did everyone go?

 

I was thinking the same thing. I pop in here every now and then and see nothing new.

 

I've been busy getting this house together....

 

I've been here almost 2 years and i am still getting the house together JJ..Good luck with all that. lol

I am closing on my new place in Winston-Salem on Monday 7/24/17. Moving from Michigan. Our daughter and son-in-law will be living in it while they look for their place a little further south and my wife will be moving in for the winter in October. I will be staying behind in Michigan to work for a bit longer.

It's been a crazy 7 weeks or so for me. Our company (Valspar wood coatings division) was purchased by Axalta (formerly Dupont Automotive). Lot's of rebranding work and our industry's largest trade show.

Deb and I managed to sneak in a couple days in Chattanooga. The highlight of the trip was a private tour of Coker Tire and their operation. Corky Coker has a pretty cool car collection.

 

My company just had it's largest trade show of the year. Our first under the Axalta brand. They have a long standing relationship with Hendrick Racing. We had Dale Jr. and his car in our booth. All in all, pretty cool and definitely an people draw.

 

I still pop in but I really don't post, been dealing with health issues and trying to plan a move back home.
