Default Need Help

Hey guys I just bought ZR downforce wheels for my 2014 mustang gt and im having issues with them sitting flush against the rotors. It’s almost like something is preventing them from going all the way back. The left rear had no problem.

When Ford assembles the Mustang they put a clip on the rotor to hold it in place - pull that clip off the lug nut stud. The stock wheels have a recess that the clip goes in allowing the wheel to sit flush. Most after market wheels have a flat surface and the clip doesn't allow the wheel to sit flush.

So you are correct, something is not allowing the wheel to sit flush.

Thanks. It’s just odd that the TSW wheels that came on the car didn’t have a problem. But all the wheels except for the left rear I had problems getting on but I’m going to take them off today and look for the clip
