I understand what its like to be short on cash, happens to me all the time. When exactly are you wanting to go to Bandimere, or have you decided yet? My parents live about ten minutes from Bandi and my sister lives about five minutes away so I am familiar with the area, and I will probably be going down there quite a bit in the next semester so I am definitely in. My car club is also thinking about heading down there this spring as a group, I'm sure you guys could come along. It would be fun to have a few mustangs to ride with along with all the evo's and talons and $hit that are in my club. Let me know when you are going by e-mail and I'll give you my cell so we can meet up. Later.
I honestle dont have any date set or in mind. What I was thinking about tho was this summer with all those people so we dont have trouble with school and work conflicts. I have never been down to bandimere. I have never had a car that was worth even taking to a track before...hahaha. I dont know when the track opens up for the season. I was thinking of going down there as soon as possible. I want to be able to go to the first test and tune of this season. I just ordered my slp exhaust. Im also going to go ahead and pick up some UD pullies. Hopefully I will be able to afford new gears and intake by next april also. Im hoping for halfway decent times after some practice n e ways... Oh and what is the name of ur car club? Have a good one man.
Yeah the summer would probably work best, you can usually get in around three runs at a test and tune if its not to busy. Another option would be the open event/competition that they have in May, you are guaranteed three runs and you run after that until you lose in heads up style competition. Hopefully I can get my pops to bring out his 69' vette, I've always wanted to run him, don't think I'd win though.
The car club I belong to is called Darkside Racing, it is a University of Northern Colorado sponsored club. We have about thirty members, 3 stangs including mine (a 95 GT, a 67 coupe and my cobra), a fully built EVOVIII pushing 325/350 whp/tq, a talon TSi, a few GSX and GST eclipses, a couple preludes, a fully built 05 STi etc. I don't know if the club is going to be able to go up to Bandi together, but we should be putting on a car show sometime next spring, you should bring out the stang.
I should be around during winter break, if you get a chance stop by the house (email me for address) or give me a call (email) and I will tell you how to get here. My house is off of 23rd Ave kinda by the Greeley Mall, I'd like to hear the stang once you get the SLP on. The underdrives are a pretty good investment, but my neighbor has a GT (same year as yours I think) with just 3:73's and that car hauls a$$. Later

I just talked to my insurance, and they started work on the mustang today, so I should get it back in a few days. Dude I love the old vettes. The 60's and early 70's was the age of the true muscle car. Ill give u an email after I finish up this post, here. I also have problems getting around greeley. I know how to get to 10th street, and also how to get to aims. Other than that I am totally lost in that city. I have class mon-thurs 830 to 1200. Dude That car show sounds bad @ss. I have always liked the evos, and also the sti's.
Good to here that they got to work on your mustang so quickly. And I love the old vettes too, especially my dads. It is a 69 stingray convertible, black-cherry-diamond paint (changes all those colors) and is fully built with a 9.5k redline. I have only got to ride in it one time and we were sideways to sixty miles an hour!!!! If you know where tenth street is you are good to go, you just take a right off tenth street on to 23rd ave. After you get on 23rd you will go for awhile and cross reservoir as well as Highway 34. The mall will be on your left side when you cross Highway 34. After you go past the mall, you take a left at the Loaf and Jug which is 32nd street. You then take your first right, and then a left at the end of the block onto McNitt street. My house is 1920, all the way down toward the end of the block. I'll let you know about the car show, but if you get a chance stop by. Later
daaamn your dads vette sounds bad! The dealership told me today that my car is on hold for parts. I should have it back by late this week or early next week. That will be very nice cause I'm getting very tired of driving a minivan. If I get the stang back before this weekend Ill give u a call to see whats going on. Oh and I was wondering if u know of anybody who is selling a fuel injected CRX? A friend of mine is looking for one as a project for school. He is going to replace the engine...and he is doing body work in class. So the condition of the car isnt all that important, as long as its not a total rust bucket. Oh and have u ever seen the blue saleen that drives around this area? I talked to the guy and its naturally aspirated. It is a dark blue rag top and looks and sounds REALLY good. Yeah tho man if u know of n e thing going on this weekend give me a ring, I sent u my number. Have a good one
Hey Matt-
Sorry don't know of anybody with a crx for sale, my roomate has a 81 civic 1500dx that he might sell him, it has a 1.5 liter in it now with minimal rust and it runs good. As far as seeing a blue saleen, I know a guy with a 01 GT that is white with flames and Saleen kit, I've seen a white S281 SN95 bodystyle, there is a yellow N/A saleen running around, but I've never seen a blue one.
I still haven't gotten my phone fixed, but I should be around this weekend, my last final is friday at 8:00 a.m. I'll give you a call if anything exciting comes up, or you can stop by if you want. Later
