Hey, congrats on the 05 purchase!!! You definitely need to bring it to the track, I need to know how they compare to a 96-98 cobra....and not what everyone speculates. Welcome to the site, and enjoy that great car.

Hey,
I drive by bandimere every day on my way to work. The C470 trip however doesn't allow me to check out 5th gear...whaaa!!!! but taking it to Colorado Springs this weekend...
As for speeding tickets, yeah well I seem to have a lead foot in town now but considering you can double the speed limit in 2nd gear, I never had a ticket before so I bought the Cobra 9500 and hope it just gives me an advance heads up when they are doing speed traps....I drove from Colorado Springs for the last two years and never got a ticket there either...just need to know where they sit and be watchful but I'm not going to be the sunday driver and not have fun in this thing=)

RE: Hi from CO
I also drive by Bandimere all the time, my sister lives off of Morrison Road, and my parents live off of 285, so I am right there with you. C470 is a great place to have a little fun, if the traffic is light, you have a fairly straight stretch of road all the way from Bowles to the 6th Avenue/I70 exits. Have fun in that thing, maybe I'll see you on C4 one of these days.

ckthecerealkiller,
When I first got it I had the 1000 watt stereo so loud I wasn't really listening for the tires but after the first two days decided to umm turn the radio down a bit and noticed a few times when I jump the light I was spinning the tires without the traction control disabled. I can't image how much spin I would get if I did disable it =o

RE: Hi from CO
nice mustang...maybe one of these days ill go take one for a test drive...but for now my cobra keeps me quite content...i hear you about the C470 trip....its great to open her up on that highway...especially when youve got some hotshot in his audi next to you...and you know audi's...always see them where they belong...mostly parked on the side of the road...lol...i take 470 quite often since i live right next to it....but unfortunately 285 to work every morning isnt quite as exciting....too much traffic to have fun there...oh well...would love to see it against antirice's mystic...that should be good fun....lots of luv, jenna
