Default Help with photo taking

This may not be the right forum, but I'm really having a hard time taking pics of my car. Everytime I take a pic there seems to be a white haze around my car. I'm using an Olympus digital camera. What am I doing wrong? I really want to start a webpage tracking my changes but these really look like crap. Here are two examples.

you got to adjust the shutter speed/iris opening to accomodate for the correct amount of light using a light meter.

thanks guys. I adjusted the settings on the camera and the pics came out a little better. didn't have too much time this morning as i was dropping her off to get the exhaust done. i'll be posting pics as soon as i get a nice sunny day to take them. (of course, now that i have my first mods done, i'm probably going to be hitting you guys up for a sig !) thanks again!

looks cold out. Is your lense fogged? make shutter higher aperture lower.

I found a site under one of the forums about taking pics of a car. I can't find it right now. If you e-mail "Amanda" she could probably help "Amanda@AutoForumUniverse.com" she found the site for me after I couldn't.

may sound stupid but did you check if the lens was clean ? i had a similar thing happen about a year ago, i took a bunch of pics at a party and they all turned out with a white haze like that... i thought something was wrong with the camera but it turned out someone (maybe even me... who knows) left a big greasy fingerprint on the lense[&:]
