Default Break From School...

Well, I'm on my 10 day break from school before I go to my next course. We don't have a section on this site just for pictures so I feel this is the place to post this. I cleaned the Camaro and have it ready to take to school and beat all the punk kids now. Next mod is making fender flares for it out of metal. Going for a Trans Am Race Car look. Just not the really huge flares, only about 1-1/2 inch wider.

Camaro...

Motor Modifications:

- 350 Four Bolt Main
- Bored .030
- Comp Cam
- Comp Cam Double Roller Timing Chain
- Stock Vortec Heads W/Comp Cam Springs
- Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake
- Holley Street Avenger Carborator 670 cfm
- Polished Crank
- Federal Mogul 10.5 Compression Ratio pistons
- Speed Pro Chrome Moly Piston Rings
- Holley Electric Fuel Pump

298.2hp @ 4496rpm and 425ft.lb. of torque at 3067rpm

The motor is stock for the most part. I have bone stock heads with exception to stiffer springs. Porting & polishing the heads, full roller assembly would get be about 50hp. But this motor isn't bad considering I was 17 when I built it and had low income. It will do until the next one which will be a demon...

Thanks, after the flares I'm looking to get a 10in wide tire in the front and about a 14in on the back. Rather then right now I have 9in in the front and 12in in the rear.

Yea, it's gonna look mean when I finish it. I'm also going to build a full frame and body drop the car. All in the name of getting low and handling better. All of this work will be built by myself. It's going to be my "Rolling Resume" when looking for a job for a race company.
