what do you do? maybe i can tell you what/if youre doing it wrong

 

magnetic lasso the botton lil part and fill it with black. same goes with the middle of trunk.

 

i just use the polygonal lasso tool to select, i find it much easier, then copy it to a new layer, desaturate it, and use the brightness/contrast for black. to change it to other colors i use the hue/saturation. that way you keep the same texture and highlights/shadows.

everything but the scoops.

i dont know why people think different color side scoops (would) look cool[&:]

Ehhh I saw an 04 yellow GT parked today, it had black stripes, all of those black accents on the back etc, and black side scoops. Looked pretty damn nice. Just my .02

as for the tailights jon, its to late i went with a different style already its like black stripes on all 6 sections of the lights
