Default Photoshop

Alright just a quick question for the masters in here. I'm lookin to download photoshop and I'm not sure which one to get. I used to use Photoshop 7.0 so I'm most comfortable with that one. Is there a huge difference where I should get Photoshop 9.0 or what? Thanks for any input guys

its all the same. 9.0 just gives you more ways to do the same thing, with some more fancy features.

i use 7.0 and it works just as good or better than what ive experienced with CS2 (no jon im not speaking out of my *** on this one)

but if you want to go pick up some books on PS, your best bet would be to go with CS2, they still have 7.0 books out but the CS2 books are like a dime a dozen anymore.

Haha well....I went from using PS 2.0 elements all the way to PS 9.0 CS2....so I can't really say if its better than 7.0[8D]

really I think it depends on what you do with it, for basic choping there is not much difference between 7 and 9 but if you plan to do some advanced stuff, cs2 has some nice tools to make the process easier. but it also used alot more resources than 7.

oh i forgot to mention that, if you personally decide to download it illegally from an unnamed source, you need to have the cdkey registered for CS2.

i decided to upgrade to CS2 a few months back after using it at a comp at school, and it downloaded fine but they said you have to have a valid unused cdkey to use the program.
