no, you can probably do that if you register though, but why would you want to? itd be just as easy to just upload it again

photobucket does not resize now till they are 1mb or larger.
And a ? for you, as i have not used imageshack in a while. if you do not register, can you go back and find your pics at a later date to say post the link again,

not if you dont keep a **** load of old pics cluttering up your hard drive. guess they both have pro's and con's, personnaly I just like photobucket better. although you have peaked my interest with this toolbar thing, may have to check that out.

well the toolbar is a nice idea, but i still just dont like the way the site is laid out. and it takes alot longer to upload to imageshack for me than photobucket does.

And if you exceed your bandwidth...it rapes all of your hosted images. I used to use photobucket...but people ***** your bandwidth...and they you are screwed.

having a few issues with the toolbar and ie7 though, hope they get it working better soon, lol.

have not ran into that problem yet. most of the chops and stuff i do, i delete after a few weeks, could be why i have not had a bandwidth issue yet. i can see where imageshack would be good for chops and stuff. but i also keep pics to show customers, family and friends on photobucket, and the way the two different sites are setup, photobucket works better for me for that purpose. I may start using imageshack for the forums though, not having to log in would be nice. and for chops i really would not ever need to find them again after they are posted.

as for saving images, myself personally, i 1. have a second hard drive that i keep all my image and music files on, and i also have most of my sigs uploaded in albums on my facebook account, so i dont gotta worry about that.
ive just always had problems with photobucket, and never found anything i liked about it, that another site (espically imageshack) hasnt provided for me.
you said they stopped resizing images unless they get bigger than 1mb, but i started using photobucket before then, and that really got annoying. id make a gif thats like 600k, and photobucket would resize it so its like 75x25 (pixel widthxheight), when it was originally at like 400x100.
yeah i used it before they changed the upload limit, and it did suck, 100 percent agree with ya there. you can also upload vids now too. I have 3 hard drives, i am just in the habit of getting rid of old stuff on them. but when I make sigs for people, I expect them to save it and host it themselfs, if they dont, ohhh well, haha. but yeah the old 500k limit just did not cut it for sure. and at that time i started using imageshack. just never got used to the layout of their site. but i may start using it again for chops, and keep photobucket for the pics i share often.
