Could someone show me what my hood would look like if I were to paint the cowls (both) black and the sides yellow to match the car.

Or if you have other ideas, could you show them too.

Maybe even make the grill under the pony black?

Is this a hard thing to do? Or is it that nobody has time to do it? Or is it because I'm still a newb.

 

well it will not look right because your hood is white. there is not enough contrast in white to change colors. especially in this pic which is washed out to begin with. it would look like someone actually took a photograph and tried to paint the color in with a paint brush. no highlights no shadows, it would just be a flat color.

 

Ohhhh, ok. So the picture sucks. Aight, thanks for explaining it to me at least.

I primed it flat black the other night, could I take another (better) pic and try it, or should I just not worry about it and have it painted like I originally planned?

 

put up a pic of it with primer and we'll take a look.
