so i downloaded photshop cuz i didnt want to ask you guys so many favors about editing my crap...i used to be good with it like 2 years ago when i think 6.0 was out? anyhow i have cs2 trial AND how do you get to that window where it shows your picture and you ahve this little bubble you can paint over your picture with, after you paint over it, the painted area is selected, you can do it visa versa too where it comes all selected then you paint there and what you paint is unselected...i remember you have to go to edit image or something..anyhow can one of you guys help me out a little please?

Sounds like you are describing quick mask mode. the buttons are circled in yellow on the screen shot. click the right button to enter quick mask mode. Paint with black to mask and white to unmask, then click the left button to enter regular mode again, and the area you painted will be selected, or the opposite will be selected depending on how you have the settings.

thanks for you help...what i was talking about when you do it or enter the mode, w/e it has a seperate box thas comes up and you do it that way...this sounds like it, it may be a replacement for it cuz this was on 6.0 but anyhow i just tryed that, and nothing happens when i go into that mode, wtf?
