PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey guys.. Do you think one of you could give me a quick crash course on editing photos... Im not exactly a wiz at this but im pretty sure I could pull it off with a few tries... Anyone know the level of difficulty it'll be to modify this picture that much!? I'd like to see what all the parts would look like on this mach 1, this is what i'd like to do in the future and i'd like to see my creation and have a cool sig.. And if you know and easier way of doin it.. Like another website or something, im open to suggestions.... Thanx!

well first you need to find good donor pics like one with the exact same angle or close to it.
then u need to open up all the pics in PS and lasso them (the parts you want to see on the mach) with the 'lasso tool'
copy and paste them onto the car layer and transform them and skew them etc.. to fit on the car good
change the color desaturate, hue/stauration, variations...
^this is assuming you have basic knowledge of PS.

if you dont have near perfect exact angles, youre gonna have a hell of a time tryin to stretch/skew/transform those parts onto the car.
to double your search results, remember you can use almost exact mirror images too, just flip them in PS.
as for color variations, yea you wanna desaturate first.
for your blacks, if youre first starting out, stick with the brightness/contrast.
for major color changes, like going to a red or to basically any color that isnt of a greyish base, id suggest usin the Color Changer.
if youre dealing with a grey and just want to add a hint of color use the hue/saturation... or use the hue/saturation if you want to make weird hues like pinks and teals without them being neon.
now if youre getting a little better, and want something of a more challenging concept, use Curves. i usually use curves for making stuff brighter and darker, or if i want to remove the blues out of a colder picture, and the reds out of a warmer picture.... and the greens to go with it... my advice is with curves you have to have a good eye, and a good sense of what youre looking for.
for chopping rims, you can do it one of two ways, you can use a lasso or pen tool and just select your way around the wheel with anchor points, or you can use the elliptical tool and make a rough oval, and go into quick mask mode (q) and press ctrl+t to adjust the size and shape of your circle to match the rim, and then exit quick mask, and you'll have a nice round selection.
my biggest advice is to start on your own car. i say this because if you have access to a camera, you can take the pictures you need at the angles you need to help you out. now this isnt gonna always be an option you in the future, but take advantage of it while youre learning the techniques.
