backgrounds
For a background like this:

All I did was lasso the car, then copied and pasted the car so it was a second layer (just the car). Then I desaturated the background layer, and added a filter to it.
For something like these

I eather took a peice of my photography (top one) or just a random image I thought the personwould like. Then You crop them to size. After that I stroke them and sometimes add a dropshadow or blur the outside.

i usualy start with a black/white cloud render. then i start using brushes over it and changing between black/white color. as im doing this i create new duplicates of the layers and change the blending options. when im done i do ctr+u and i can change the color of the background to suite the car render as needed. ofcourse this all depends on the type of picture im dealing with.
i did the technique i was talking about with this sig i made earlier today

what about fonts? i see alot of people on here with their names in crazy fonts. Now i know some of it is done by special brushes. But some of them are way too straight and perfect looking to be a brush. Where do you guys download your extra fonts/brushes/etc??
io didnt look for any font packs. but i did dowload a bunch of Graffiti style fonts. but now i cant figure out where to put them on my computer. I dowloaded some brushes a while back. but there is a brush folder in photoshop to drop them in, but i cant find the folder for fonts/text.
Where do i put these font files so they show up in photoshop?
