noo mustang is gone dude, sold it for $750 and now i got a nice 85 rx7, great shape plus its got a rotary motor!!!

Yeah they don't last very long, that's what turned me off from 93 rx-7 i was looking at a while ago.

I did some research and a 70,000 mile car with a rotary engine has a lot of problems.

 

really cause i have owned this rx for a year now and it has 150,000 on motor and runs strong, here is the thing with em they are an oil injected car and run on 20 50W oil so if someone doesnt kno much about them or to maintain them then yes they dont last long but if u keep up on them they can last LONGER than a piston motor. i have not had 1 breakdown other than the tach wire came loose

 

o and a vacume hose came off but was fixed right away with no problem

 

yeah, i guess it depends on the owner, an article in Road&Track stated they need to be meticuously maintained for them to last, but maybe it was just the later models. I don't remember.
