Could you get a picture of it in the daylight? It would make the lowering look better (notice it a lot more)

its called increasing the exposure of the image without making it cloudy, so you can work with it...

a lot of the pics posted in here that are under/over exposed, can be tweaked to be workable/standable.

Yeah, Photoshop is a professional program, and it is very impressive.
It can do crazy things with bad photos if you know what tools your using.
