ATTN: Everyone
Ok, so now that I got your attention, lets get to the fun part.
Important!: This thread is for ANYONE, not just the regular Chop Shop members. The more people that get in on this, the more fun it will be. So dont be afraid to post what you have made
We're gonna have some fun with this thread. So here's the idea. Someone will post a picture of a car, and its your job to chop the crap out of it, and post your finished product.
After the thread starts to die down of chops on a car, we can start on a new one.
Heres a few guidelines to help keep this thread productive: [ol][*]When you post a new car, post a high resolution image. (That means anything that is at least 800x600)[*]When you post your chopped car, make the size no larger than 640x480. (Most pictures will probably be in desktop background sizes, so 640x480 will be a standard size to shrink your image to)[*]Lets try to keep it to one car at a time. Because most people here have lives, give it a day or two or so before we put up a new car. That way, everyone will have a chance to do the current car, before everyone moves on to a new one.[/ol]EDIT:
1. You wanna try and post ones at angles that are easy to work on and at a nice 3/4 angle. Plus you wanna get one at an angle that you will find other car pictures at. That way you can use parts off of other cars to chop onto the car you are chopping.
2. A car like a lotus already has a lot of stuff done to it, like wheels, unique body, spoiler, etc. Theres really not much you can still do to the car. You would want to post a car that has a lot of room to work with.
Some examples of cars you would want to post, would be a stock civic, stock non-classic mustang camaro or firebird, stock pickup truck, etc.
Cars you kind of want to veer from posting, would be most European Exotics, or cars that are already tuned/riced, or most classic cars.
Last note: For those of you that have been hanging around this section for quite a while now, I am aware that we did have a thread for this (and yes I did make it, so I didnt forget about it
). But that thread is too cluttered, and I think it would be better to start off fresh. For those of you that are interested in looking through the old thread, here it is. https://mustangforums.com/m_1956845/tm.htm
Now that I explained what is going on, here's a quick example of what to do:
you want to take this first image, and do something like what i have done in the 2nd image

or something like this:

Now, if someone posts a car, we can get started

I was bored so I went ahead and messed with the lotus for a warm up (never done a color change before)
I lowered it and made the body parts lower too.
Dont criticize too much, I dont have time to finish it and smooth out the edges right now.
