Photoshop Q's?
I recently created some images that were 4.6875x2.25" in photoshop.
When I took outa ruler because it didn't look the right size, it was smaller than the dimensions I put into Adobe.
Is this something to do with my resolution settings? How is it possible to make the dimensions true to size?

Did you actually take out a real ruler and put it up to the screen or did you use the ruler in Photoshop?
Also you can go to Image>Image Size, and check to see if your proportians and the size you originally specified are still same, maybe you somehow skewed it without you knowing you did.

i never proportion pictures by inches, usually just pixels. also i dont print anything i usually crop or chop in photoshop. if i had a photo printer that might be a different story. but i would think that the ruler in photoshop (Ctrl+R) is "to-scale".
Thanks for the info. I'm creating ads for my business and I couldn't figure out how to make the image true to size. I would specify the dimensions since the specs I was given doesn't give pixels, just inches.
I'll make sure I use photoshops ruler.
