Default Sign Tutorial 2 (HOT!) Source file here

1. Find a cool pic. I usually go to yahoo and click on images, on seach engine I typed "Mustang"
2. Make your selection (get a good quality pic, better) and copy/paste or drag into photoshop
3. Now select the Polygonal lasso tool and selct the image around it like so.
4. Now that the image it's all selected go to "select" then go to "feather" and put a 5 pix and hit on "OK"
5. Now go to the where the layer section it's and click on "Add Layer mask"

Now the whole image should be blended so all you have to do now it's resize the image and drag the blended image into your backgrund add a few touches here and there and that's it. I don't have a background so I'm making one, follow step 6 and on.

6. Create file, I make it 400pix by 135pix
7. Click on select and click on all
8. Use bucket to fill all with black/white
9. click on filter / render / and select clouds
10. that's how your final background should look.

Now the only thing left is to drag car into background as frame, granes, and text and presto!!! see below for final result... GOOD LUCK and have fun.

Final result

text.... I'm make a tutorial later on but the way I do it is I go to http://www.dafont.com I find a cool looking font and then I download it into control panel/fonts (after doing this step photoshop then recognizes the new font) after that I just type in whatever I want and then right click on font layer select blending option and mess around with the options, you'll see it's not that hard to do... have fun!

by the way, the tutorial for the boarder and for tha granelines are found in the sign and avatar section under tutorials along with many other cool tutorials.

If these tutorials help you I would love it if you share your work so I can see how it helped you. thanks!
