Default ok, dumb question about animation

so i made a pretty kickass animation, but for some reason when i save it, it only shows one frame

i tried saving as a *.gif and a *.png

im using CS3, which has ImageReady built in (or something close to it)

when i preview the thing it looks great too

well, i don't know how different cs3 is compared to elements 2.0, but when i save an animation, i go to 'file', 'save for web', and there is an 'animate' checkbox which, obviously, gets your file to be animated. there is also a 'loop' checkbox which, obviously, gets the file to loop itself. hopefully that helps

if CS3 is any bit the same as CS2, you should have an export button, to load your picture into your web browser. you just need the details palette open to make sure you have it set to export as a GIF, and it should send it to your default web browser, which you can then right click and Save As, to save the animation.

joo, after seeing your new sig, i wanted to try my own like yours. so, since the one i made looks similar to yours, i just wanted to ask if it was alright to use. if you notice, i added "i've joined" sort of in response to your "join the joovolution"

I'm on my iPhone right now, so I can't see the animation. But it looks nice so yeah go ahead and use it

How many rays did you use? The full wheel on mine has 32 rays (16 blue & 16 white), which gave me 11 frames with 2.045 degrees rotation between the frames in order to get the rays to the next position

i think i have 8 or 10 rays (just red) at a 4 degree rotation, which resulted in 7 frames. i'm thinking about making them a little bigger/wider though, because at that size they are making me dizzy when i look at it
