ok ive been messing around with photoshop 7 trial and i can not figure out how to get another picture on top of the one i already have. is it a new layer or what.

You can add it as a new layer.. are you lassoing something and trying to put it on top of another pic?

no im just trying to figure out how to get say 1 car from one picture onto another picture with another car

so.......... actually i guess thats a yes............... lasso the car i want.............but how do i get it ontop of the other picture

After you lasso it and have it highlighted... go into edit, copy, then click on the pic you want it to go on so the top bar highlights on it, go back to edit and hit paste.

AND I DO............ so after i paste the picture............ how do i move it where i want it........ i pasted it and now i can't figure out how to move around
