making backgrounds you pretty much just mess around with colors and blending options and pictures sometimes i guess.

as for gettin it in, just lasso the car then copy and paste it, then blur the edges around it.

After you get the pic up, go to Layer, Layer style and then blending options. Mess around in there and see how your pic changes. After trying that out and you got it figured out then try them individually.

Edit: The background is made with different brushes you will have to download. Most are grunge brushes.

i have the car lassoed how do i work onthe background now

You need to work on the background first then lasso the car. Either way just shrink the car down and it will stayed lasso'd just don't copy anything. When you are done with the background go up to edit and hit copy and shrink the pic of your car down and bring up the background you want to paste it on. Go back up to edit and hit paste.
