yeah basically just for fun, i had nothing to do that day so i figured why not give it a shot, i thought i'd spend a couple of hours on it but then i got obsessed with ideas i wanted to do ..took about 8-9 hours in all

Here's my entry. Basically, I lowered the roof, changed the paint, modded the grill, modded the spoiler, new rims, and lowered the front and rear bumper. Oh and I also removed some doors.

that looks nice. i still havnt figured out how to change the paint colors, while keeping the shadows/reflections.... if someone could be kind enough to give me a small writeup on how its done, thatd be awesome.

Here's what you do.

Create a duplicate layer of the image you're working with.
Turn off the original to get that out of the way.
Make sure you are on the new layer.
User the eraser tool and remove everything but the body of the car. This includes all windows, tires, headlights, etc.
Once you got that done, then magic wand select the everywhere in the blank areas. Do a Select Inverse to get just the body of car.
Go to layer>>Adjust Hue/Saturation and play with those settings. You are kind of limited on which colors will appear but at least you'll keep the lighting.

Play around with the other adjustments. I use Brightness/Contrast to shade the windows.
