ok time for another competition. i thought we'd do one of the higher performance imports, so i have a couple different cars here, and we can narrow it down to one we all agree on. go all out on this one, without making fun of the stereotypical ricer (ie coffee can muffler, plastic spinners, rediculious things like that). pretty much turn it into a tuner show car.

yea that was my choice too. but i thought id give some choices, maybe itll draw more of a crowd rather than just making everyone to a car they didnt get to choose.

Yeah, i think we should decided the car with this thread and then find about 5 other shots of the winning car and choose that one we want to use with another poll.

 

Well, since the STI looks like it's gonna be the one to use. I felt it was a little small of a picture to start with to make a quality chop. I found a picture below that is huge. Maybe if you decide to use the one below you could just make a rule to have the final chopped image be 1024x768. Just thought I'd help.

thats a good quality pic, but its harder to find donor parts for a pic that size. im not saying there arent any, but it will be a hell of a lot easier to find pics of donor parts at 1024x768... plus then you dont have to go through the hassle of resizing. and depending on how detailed you go with this, at that size you may not find a place to upload it at that size.

 

That is why I said the final image would have to be 1024x768. I just thought it would be better the the 800x600 image above. I'm not gonna argue, I was just putting my 2 cents in. It takes 2sec to resize the image for large to 1024x768. Continue as you were.

 

it was a good idea, im just thinkin that the quality wont be much different anyway once you do resize it. atleast its not gonna make a worlds difference. but to whoever wants to use the bigger pic of the sti, be my guest.
