thanks guys, i wasn't too sure about the font and font color though ...i got a bunch of new fonts and wanted to try one of them out ...any suggestions on that part ?

 

I think the font could just use a small effect....like a drop shadow, inner shadow or an inner glow, maybe a small stroke, or a gradient overlay. Just something to make it pop off the background a little more.

 

it already had a drop shadow but i still thought it looked a bit flat, so i added a little bit of emboss to it, maybe it'll look a little better. i dunno

 

tint the color maybe to a more orangey color? not too much just a little like rusy look
