Default how much?

Well I have to sell my mustang for various reasons...ok i found a killer deal on a '67 fastback and i dont have money or the room for both. So im putting my car up for sale locally on craigslist. Its a rust free '65 with a 302 v8 and an auto tranny. I attached a couple pictures to give you guys a better idea. I was planning on asking $8500 obo, does that sound reasonable?

Where are you in the country? A price in depressed Cleveland will be less than LA etc. Looks damn nice.

I would say you are in the ball park from the way it looks in the pictures. I guess you will just have to see what people say.

What kind of seats do you have in the front? I would like some with a head rest.

im in the reno/tahoe area...i put it on craigslist and havnt had any real response yet.

the front seats i got from TMI as part of their sport seat conversion. it uses the stock seat frames and comes with the new foam and headrests. probably one of the best investments ive made imo.

unfortunately i forgot my camera when i went to look at it...hopefully ill get some tomorrow. its got the 289 with the 4bbl carb, 4-speed, was media blasted and primed a while ago...no rust. body is as straight as an arrow. starts, runs...didnt get a chance to drive it because the tires had gone flat. killer good deal imo. once i get pics ill make a new thread.

but yeah, i havnt had any bites on the '65 yet which is kind of disappointing. i mean i still have some wiggle room in the price til its down to what i got the fastback for but id like to have a few grand extra to spend to fix up the fastback.

Sounds like a good price, good luck on selling it. Congrats on finding a fastback at a good price, wish I was that lucky lol. Do you mind if I ask what you got the fastback for?

Congrats on finding a nice fastback. Good luck on the sale of your coupe. It sounds reasonable to me from what the pictures look like.

I don't know what the market is over there, but over here I would offer you 5-6K for it.
