Default Night and day.

Ok, so it is a sunny warm day so it had to be done....after I went to the bank on lunch today I dashed home, threw the boys car seats in the Mustang and drove it back to work.

This is the first time that I have driven it since hooking up the new 6x9's on the package tray and what a night and day difference from before. Instead of just running the two about 2.5 inch speakers in the dash to have all four working is an amazing difference.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programing....

That was one of the first things I did. That way I could listen to the radio while working on it in storage Haha

I just keep a radio on the workbench in the garage myself....keeps me from running down my battery.

The Mustang was running good today but had an issue. On the gear shifter there is the button that you are supposed to push in to shift gears and mine is stuck. It shifts fine but without needing to push the button. I set the parking break, turned the wheels hard as they would go and made sure to park on a flat spot when I got back to the office.

O' the joys of driving a classic...it's always something.

Hoping she will be running good tomorrow night because I want to take her up to the local car club meet since I haven't made it in about three Saturdays now.

local club up here in The Woodlands gets together every Saturday night from 7-9 p.m. at a local Pizza Place appropriately named "Classic Pizza".

Not a straight Mustang group and you run across a little of everything depending on who comes out. One guy has a really sweet '68 GTO but he is in Singapore or something right now due to work. A friend of mine that I made through the club owns a pretty sweet '70 Datsun Z car. Couple of guys have new Mustangs, one fellow who is almost always there has a Lotus, couple of Viper guys and a laundry list of other classic type cars that show up from time to time.

It's pretty fun and the pizza isn't bad. I bring the boys with me and they mess around playing hide-n-seek, etc.

If you're ever coming up this way let me know and I'll try to make it that Saturday.

I go through sprees of making it every week but usually it is more like every couple to three weeks.
