You can repair the cowl with a modified kit, and you can do it from inside the car if you pull the dash. The doors are not reproduced, neither are skins for them. The corners of the trunk between the quarter panels and the tail light panel are not reproduced. I dont think you will have a problem with those. The body color bumpers and shock towers up front are not reproduced but the pieces on either side are. No cowl or roof panel either. The rest of the car is pretty much available.

Just because the hood locks are different doesn't necessarily mean the hood has been replaced, however it does seem like the hood locks are positioned too far back... All I know is they weren't functional, someone disabled them. I'm pretty sure the cowl is fine... but if for some reason I'm mistaken, it looks like i'll be hitting you up thumpin.

I'm not worried about the patches not being made yet, I don't think this car will need them. And if we do happen to need patches my bodyshop that did my car is really skilled with them. Or we can learn how to weld

Well we're picking the car up at 1, I'm confident for 6500 we're not getting in over our head. All but 1 of you have said its worth it, so hopefully it is besides, california prices suck really bad... thank you all for the help, when I clean the car up a bit I'll probably post more pics

I am seeing every year more and more replacment parts. Thats why I call them the "sleepers" among the classics. Oh, by the way, they ride the best of all the long nose Stangs.

Pretty much most mach1 with a nasa hood had twist locks too.So it might have not had them or the hood was replaced. Two site you will want to bookmark http://www.7173parts.com/ http://429mustangcougarinfo.50megs.com/ both have tons of info.Look around on ohiomustang and npd they both have some parts for it.
