Default Jack

I have the jack out of my 67 and I believe it may be original. Is there a way to tell if this is original, like a code on it or something? I couldn't seem to find one. Probably going to sell it when I put the other parts on ebay.

I don't understand why you removed the jack and spare tire to shave weight. What if you need it?

Can't use it. The spare is a 14in rim 4 lug. I have 15s on it and it is now 5 lug.

I had the same problem when I upgraded to 5 lug. I just got an inexpensive wheel that was the right size for a spare. I actually got it on ebay for 20 bucks. It was a new older style wheel.

For 17 years instead of dragging around a spare and a jack, I drag around my AAA card. I only had one flat in all that time, and was towed for free in 15 minutes to a nearby gas station who fixed the flat for $8.

I must have saved hundreds of dollars in gas not having a spare, and have way more trunk space.
