theyve been a hassle ever since ive had the car. ive never had the wheels off of it so i have no idea what lays behind. haha. and its just a solid steel rim, not sure why the prevous owner was so scared of it getting stolen. haha
pictures of your lug nuts would help to identify them
Take an old socket that's just slightly bigger, and driver it onto the lock with a hammer. It ruins the locking nut and the socket, but it'll get it off
Yep, I have done this more than a few times hasn't failed me yet.
I have bought some nifty little sockets to do this job since the last time. These are best described as "reverse easy outs", have not tried them yet though...
